Thank you

I am thankful for so many things, but to sum it up, I am thankful for having this life. I feel so blessed to have had this time and this life, with so many people I love and with so many people that love me.

I am very lucky, and even when I have a day, like today, where it seems like all the little things aren't going my way, I know there is a reason, and you have to have the not so great days to enjoy the good ones, and I'm still really lucky to be where I am and have so many blessings

Yea for us!

When I met Fred, almost 10 years ago, he was in cc debt, and so was I, so I am so excited, and honestly a little nervous, about the fact that we are about to be out of cc debt! It feels like a weight that has been hanging over us for a long time, so it is very exciting to be done with it, but also something that I don't really know what it is like to be without in my adult life...

Hopefully between this lesson and watching my dad struggle with debt, we will be able to learn and move on and stay out of cc debt!

Thanksgiving Memories

for starters, she ran the whole 1 mile turkey trot. I was so proud of her. Just like her mama, she was pretty much in last place, but she ran the whole thing and she was positive the whole time!

after the race we came home and I told her it was time for nap, and I swear the first time in her negotiating life she agreed to go to sleep! When she woke up, other people had arrived, so she cuddled with Grandpa for awhile and ate a ton of crackers, so by the time dinner was served, she wasn't very hungry.

The cutest part was when it was time for dessert. I gave her a plate of apple and pumpkin pie, and everyone was seated, and she makes some comment about having to bake the pie, so she gets out of her chair, goes and gets the rolling pin, sits back down and rolls her pumpkin pie. Then she proceeds to eat her pumpkin pie off the rolling pin! We were all laughing!
